Story Time Books for Kids is a specialist children’s bookshop near the centre of Petone’s Jackson Street. It was started in 1998 by a children’s book enthusiast. Malcolm McEwen, another enthusiast, took over in November 2006 having been introduced to Harry Potter, Philip Pullman, The Gruffalo and many other books and authors by Story Time.
Malcolm has been, among other things: parent, teacher, school librarian, grandparent, and editor. The common factors have been reading and children, and Story Time Books integrates these.

Story Time Books for kids has books to provide this nurturing, and the ability to order any book which is in print in New Zealand.

We offer discounts for educational institutions, and will also send you by courier a box of books for you to choose from and return the rest to us using a prepaid courier ticket which we provide.
